Working from home and loving it!

Cool home-office

If you were to design your dream home office, how would it be? what will it need to have in order for it to work for you?

I have been asking myself these two questions lately and after some consideration have come up with a list of must-haves I will like to share:

**Comfort

** Let me be clear, by this I don’t mean that the office space has to be big -I know first hand that you can find comfort in the smallest places. I mean that you have to find a desk and a chair that fits you well. I myself am a tall woman therefore a tall desk, paired with a comfy ergonomic chair would be my best choice.

**Connectivity

** Have enough power outlets to connect your laptop, speakers, printer and scanner always available. Don’t waist your time plugging and unplugging things. If you have to “waste” time during work hours let it be for something worth it… like having a cup of coffee or gazing out-the-window.

Good lightning

Unless you are a direct descendant of Count Dracula I am sure you will agree with me when I say that proper lighting does makes a difference! If I have to spend 8 hours plus in front of my computer I want to feel as fresh as possible and Good lighting helps you be more alert and happy.

Good ventilation

Let’s face it, the human body is a smelly piece of machinery and a well ventilated room will make a difference when impromptu visitors arrive.

Order

Organizing your workplace is almost as important as organizing your work -and Blimp already takes care of that. Keep all those contracts, inspirational magazines and wire frames off your desk and neatly tucked away in colorful and interesting bins that will also help you personalize your space.

Tell us, how do you imagine your dream home-office?
