Beta tester plan offer extension and FAQ

By Giovanni Collazo 02 Jan 2013

Happy new year!

Over the past days a lot of people contacted us regarding our beta tester plan offer which was scheduled to expire on January 1st, 2013. Most people had questions about the plan and what it meant to be a beta tester plan subscriber. For that reason we are going to extend the plan for 7 more days (until January 9, 2013) and on this blog post we are going to try to answer all the questions we have come across about this offer.

What’s included in the plan?

The plan includes unlimited projects, and 100MB of storage in our built in file sharing solution, access to the new Dropbox and Google Drive integration and access to new features way before other users.

How much is the subscription?

You can get the beta tester plan for $12 a month. You will pay $12 a month for as long as you have that plan. We will not take the beta tester plan away for users that have it.

What happens if plan prices go up in the future?

You will keep your $12 a month subscription with unlimited projects, 100MB of files and access to new features before other users.

How do I get the beta tester plan?

Easy, create a Blimp account and company or sign in to your current account, then go to the billing section of your company and select beta tester plan from the options. Enter your payment information and that’s it, you will have instant access to the plan features.

Do I have to sign a contract or agree to a long term commitment?

No, you don’t have to commit to the plan for more than one month. You can cancel anytime, without penalties.

What happens when the offer expires?

When the offer expires we will not accept any more beta tester subscriptions. If you already have a beta tester subscription nothing will change. You can keep your beta tester subscription forever.

Will you make a similar offer in the future?

No, right now we don’t have plans to make this kind of offer anytime soon.

What if I change my mind?

Just change your subscription back to the “free plan” and that’s it.

100MB of file storage seems too little for me. Can I get more storage with the beta tester plan?

No, if you need more storage we recommend that you use the Dropbox or Google Drive functionality which will not impact your file storage limits. You can also upgrade to one of the other plans with more storage.

Should I get the beta tester plan?

Yes, you should get the beta tester plan.

Is this really my last chance?
